Long time

0 min read
I'm not sure when I last uploaded a photo here, but I know that it has been way to long. School keeps me busy and so does being married (I got married just over a year ago). I don't remember the last time I took my camera out to just have fun shooting pictures sadly. Maybe I'll be able to do it over thanksgiving break (who knows though). My latest upload is an infographic that I made for one of my classes here at Berea. I finally figured out how to use the vector tools in Fireworks (MX. I don't have the money to buy new software and I generally don't pirate software :P ). Before I would draw in a different program and then export it as an im

well, I bought a terabyte drive today... which is a ton of space. It's crazy how fast technology changes. Twenty years ago most people wouldn't have thought a person would need that much space. Though currently the 500 gig hard drive i have is almost full. Pictures, video, and music. Plus backing up my computer takes up another 10 or 11 gigs every time. Anyhow, I'm happy with my camera.(Canon SX10 IS) The replacement has worked great. It's a great camera to use. It is a bit slow when the zoom is fully extended, but in the sun it works great. I love the flip screen also. I also like to shoot in program and turn the exposure 1/3. (they come ou

Well, made up my mind a few days ago and bought the Canon SX10 IS. I got it Saturday and it worked great. I took it straight out of the box and shot a few pictures. Then I read the manual to find out how it all works. It's a nice camera with lots of functions (and I'm sure some of them I'll never use)  ( The sad part is today my camera started to act (yesterday I didn't have a problem). The SX10 has a swivel LCD screen. The problem is that it stopped flipping the pictures and icons on the screen. It acted as if the sensor read that the screen was backwards. I asked Canon about it and they said do a factor reset and if that doesn't work eithe

hey jacob! good to see you on here! i didn't know you were into photography! that is fantastic. haven't had a chance to look at all of your work, but what i see is really good!
Yeah, i like taking photos. Though i don't get the chance too often ( I also didn't have my own camera till recently) Glad you like what you've looked at. I'm still working on figuring out some of the details (and personal style) on how to make and take good photos.
hey when are you going to put up some more pictures?
hmm.. maybe within the next few weeks. I don't have DSL at home and my family was around so i didn't have as much time.
hay Jacob!
how are things going?
hey anne,

well life is too long to explain here.. but college is good, and i'm looking for a job.
